Liguria at the Luxury Travel Market International in Cannes with 10 operators | Liguria Business Journal

Liguria Region e Agency “in Liguria” will participate in the next edition of Luxury Travel Market International, the fair dedicated to the luxury tourism segment. The event will take place from 6 to 9 December a Cannes and Liguria will be the protagonist with a stand in partnership with ten Ligurian operators in the sector.

The Ligurian luxury community, with its hotels and accommodation facilities, aims to conquer new market shares in a sector that is growing rapidly after the end of the pandemic. An analysis conducted byOxford Economics Group confirms that in the next few years Luxury travel will grow more than the rest of the travel sector, with a rate of 6.2% against 4.8% for the rest of the market.

The Cannes event, as well as being ideal from a logistical point of view, comes at a very important moment for tourism and territorial marketing of Made in Liguria. In Cannes, luxury travel brands, experiences, destinations and suppliers from all four corners of the world will once again meet international travel planners, curators and agencies: “We took part in the Cannes Iltm two years ago – he declares Gianni Berrino, Councilor for Tourism – at the invitation of the hoteliers who manage the luxury hotels in Liguria, to evaluate how a fair entirely dedicated to tourism experiences related to luxury could be useful to our territory. Cannes will also feature some of the best media editors and VIP journalists from around the world. THE buyers will be 1,650 and three days of B2B negotiations are planned, with an appointment agenda.
