The movement fights for clean, safe, fair, transparent and responsible fashion through research, education and advocacy. “Fashion revolution is a global movement in 92 countries with a collective vision for a fashion industry that conserves and restores the environment and values ​​people for growth and profit,” the team emphasizes.

The movement highlights that the majority of the people who produce the clothes are not paid enough to meet their basic needs, and are already feeling the impacts of the climate crisis, which the fashion industry is feeding.

During the seven days of the Fashion revolution week, a variety of events are planned online, including on Instagram, and offline on the themes that animate the movement.

The association founded by Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro has now become one of the main actors denouncing the abuses of the fashion industry in the world. Fashion revolution week turns nine in April and takes place in 89 countries around the world, including the great fashion capitals such as Paris, London and New York. It brings together associations and NGOs, economists, researchers and professionals in the textile sector for meetings and workshops open to the public and aimed at imagining together the actions to be taken, be they citizen or political.
