HOUSE of Games fans have blasted a celebrity contestant for an irritating habit.
This week’s episodes of the popular BBC Two show are repeats, and see host Richard Osman joined by James Cracknell, Rory Bremner, Maisie Adam and Michelle Gayle.
However, those who hadn’t seen the episodes the first time round were soon annoyed by one of James’ habits.
The Olympic rower liked to give detailed explanations of how he’d come to some of his answers, as well as discuss his sporting success.
It left viewers at home vexed, with one writing on Twitter: “@richardosman Does James Cracknell not realise #houseofgames is not #Mastermind? We don’t care how he worked his answers out!!!!”
Another added: “I don’t know Cracknell well but does he bang on about how Steven Redgrave wouldn’t have won golds at 5 Olympics without his help?”
Meanwhile a third simply put: “Cracknell is a right t*** #houseofgames.”
Last week, Richard was blasted by viewers for a string of “unfair” blunders.
He was joined by Alex Jones, Jessica Knappet, Rob Rinder and Karim Zeroual.
Viewers saw Judge Rinder win every round of the show, leaving him “sharing” his prizes with his co-stars.
But some took to social media in response to slam host Richard, saying he was giving away points to the TV personality.
They noted how despite not completing some answers fully, Rob, 43, was being told he was correct and given the points.
On one occasion in the programme, Rob gave two words out of a five word answer to a film question about Tom Cruise.
“Which 2008 film stars Brad Pitt as a man who ages backwards?” the question read, to which Rob answered: “Benjamin Button”.
“They actually wanted The Curious Case of Benjamin Button but I will give you that,” Richard could be heard saying.
Rob should NOT keep getting points from wrong or incomplete answers,” one viewer fumed on Twitter.
“TAKE AWAY THE POINT,” another angrily added to Richard: “Quit helping the contestants on House of Games.”
House of Games airs weeknights at 6pm on BBC Two.
