“I’m sure that when anyone is in the Boardroom, they feel like they’re just personally attacked. I’m very much feeling that right now, I felt it last week as well.

“I don’t think Lord Sugar has seen what I’ve got to offer. I don’t think that he made the right decision in firing me.”

Jodi was fired over her part in the wellness retreat task.

She had signed up to lead a class in equine therapy, a treatment that involve activities with horses to promote positive mental well-being.

The problem was, Jodi was utterly terrified of the four-legged animals.

“Why would you, who is scared of horses, be the person who runs an equine therapy session?” Lord Sugar’s Advisor Janine Allis asked in the Boardroom.

“I wasn’t playing to my strengths in that task,” Jodi added in her exit interview.

“I should have spoken up, I should have done more and usually I do. Usually I throw myself into it and be a really big role of some sort.

“This particular task, I felt like I wasn’t doing enough and I certainly wasn’t playing to my strengths. That seems to have got the better of me.”

She added: “I felt like my girls really tried to protect me, but Bronte [Campbell] — she ended up taking me into the Boardroom. So yes, the decision was made and I was fired.”

Jodi said she thought she did well in supporting the team, before adding: “I feel like other people muck around and waste time sometimes.”

She concluded that she had “learned so much” from the experience, and claimed there is nothing she would change if she had the chance to do it again.
