Joanne McNally met her secret Irish boyfriend on celebrity dating app Raya

Joanne McNally has revealed she met her Irish boyfriend on celebrity dating app Raya.

The comedian previously shared that his name is Dennis and he is from Bray, but she remained coy on further details about their relationship.

She said that things are going well between them but she is embarrassed to talk about her romance.

“I’m actually seeing someone. I met an Irish guy on Raya, he’s sound and we’re like, dating or whatever,” she said on Instagram.

“But obviously I’m going to block him from seeing this video because I don’t want him to know I’m acknowledging were dating, because embarrassing.”

Joanne joked that she and Dennis are “engaged” because neither of them are sleeping with anyone else.

She told Vogue Williams on their podcast: “I went back home [to Ireland] with the intention of wrapping it up with Dennis.

“I was like look, it can’t go anywhere. I don’t live there, you don’t live here. You’ve got kids, you’re not going anywhere.

She went on: “Anyway, I basically lived with him for five days in Killiney castle and now I think we’re engaged.

“It was basically like ‘Are you riding anyone else?’ ‘No. Are you riding anyone else?’ ‘No.’

“He was like ‘Let’s just ride the wave’ and I guess I’m the wave.”

Joanne was actually blocked from Raya last year because she was caught taking screenshots of people’s profiles and sending them to her friends.

“Raya is the celebrity one, which I wangled my way onto. I broke in, basically. I shouldn’t have been on there at all. Like, there’s proper celebrities on it, and then there’s people like me,” she explained on The Late Late Show.

She continued: “I did leave but not through choice. Because there’s all these celebrities on Raya, and because I was just a pleb on Raya – completely excited to see these celebrities – I was screen-grabbing the photos of the celebrities and sending them to the girls.

“Anyway, I screen-grabbed Lewis Hamilton and then this alarm starts coming up, basically going, ‘You’ve just identified yourself as a pleb because you’re screen-grabbing the celebrities. You don’t belong here – get out!’”

“They obviously have a system set up, you know? There’s some software where they can tell that you’ve screen-grabbed. Anyway, I’m not on Raya anymore. But it wasn’t for me, it wasn’t for me!”
