Germany Travel Mart: three days of meetings with the German offer

A Oberammergau is running until tomorrow on Germany Travel Martafter two years proposed again in the presence of the employees of the international tourism sector.

Activities focus on trade agreements for next year. Gtm is the sales event most important for German incoming tourism and is organized annually by the German national tourism body in collaboration with different partners from year to year, in the form of “green meeting”.

The heart of the Gtm are the two days dedicated to workshop: this year they participate 164 German companies of the world of tourism, which present the variety of their services and the quality of their offer in incoming tourism to beyond 200 buyer of the international travel industry to make trade deals. A rich information program was organized for the approximately 90 representatives of the international press and media, focusing on the key issues of nature, culture, active holidays, health and wellness, as well as customs and traditions. Today, GTM participants are also invited to an event at the Festival Hallthe theater at the foot of Neuschwanstein Castle.

Petra Hedorferchairman of the board of directors of the Dzt, explained: “After that in the last two years, due to Covid, we have been able to keep the Gtm only in virtual form, in 2022 we want to give a clear signal to continue the process of recovery dell’incoming: the willingness to travel abroad detected by Ipk International in our home markets around the world it reaches 80%, the highest value since the start of the pandemic. Our Dzt Expert Panelwhich includes over 250 key accounts of the international travel industry, confirms one growth in demand for sustainable travel, for which experts see Germany in first place. Our partners this year, Oberammergau, Zugspitz Region and Bayern Tourismus Marketing, have worked out with great professionalism a side program which significantly presents the capabilities of German tourism companies and the variety of the offer, especially in the rural regions”.
