Confindustria Firenze and Vanity Fair: together for Future For Fashion 2022

An economic system that involves more than 60 thousand companies and which represents the second manufacturing sector of the Italian industry. And the fashion the protagonist of the event Future For Fashion 2022: two days of conversations, debates and round tables on the future of fashion as a cultural, industrial and social expression.

The appointment, organized by Confindustria Florence and digitally amplified in collaboration with Vanity Fair, presents some of the most enlightened entrepreneurs and top managers who met on 25 and 25 March in the Salone de ‘500 of Palazzo Vecchiosymbol of Florence, cradle of beauty and well-made, the city of origin of some of the most famous fashion and luxury brands in the world, and of a manufacturing network of artisans, factories and suppliers with unique skills.

Ercole Botto Poala, Vice President of Confindustria Moda, Stefania Lazzaroni, General Director of the Altagamma Foundation, Carlo Capasa, President of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, and Carlo Maria Ferro, President of the ICE Agency discuss the realities and expectations of the fashion system in Italy. Alfonso Dolce, CEO of Dolce & Gabbana, then talks about the supply chain and craftsmanship in a global context, while Luigi Salvadori, President of the CR Firenze Foundation, Leonardo Bassilichi, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence and Claudio Marenzi, President of Herno and President of Pitti explain why Florence is a place of success. Marco Palmieri, President and CEO of Piquadro SpA and The Bridge SpA, illustrates the importance of Florentine savoir faire for his company. Niccolò Ricci, CEO of Stefano Ricci SpA and Andrea Panconesi, Founder and President of and Frediano Sebastiani, Chief Operating Officer of Ermanno Scervino, give their contribution on the strength of the Florentine brands in the world.

The last meeting deals with the question of the artisanal dimension and the dimensional leap, analyzing possible solutions for the good of the company: Fabrizio Testa, CEO of Borsa Italiana – Euronext Group, Fabio Sattin, Executive Chairman and founding partner of Private discuss them.
