Eagle-eyed fashionistas think they might have cracked who’s behind the latest clothing line in a celebrity collaboration with New Look. But it’s certainly divided opinion among shoppers.
The high street fashion brand shared a teaser video on their Instagram account this morning, which saw a curvy blonde strut into a studio setting wearing a blue, pink and green patterned jumpsuit, with the word ‘guess’ written on the screen.
Posting to their 2.8 million followers, the retailer said: “Our New Look family just gained a new member! Can you guess who it is?”

Shoppers seem to think they know who the blonde babe is, with many of the commenters ‘certain’ it’s ex-TOWIE star Gemma Collins.
One said: “I’m sure this is the GC.” while another added: “Oh my god is that Gemma Collins?”
Other suggestions include ‘Lady Whistledown’, who is played by Nicola Coughlan in Bridgerton, as well as YouTuber and makeup artist Nikkie de Jager – but the overwhelming majority are convinced that Gemma is the one behind the new line.
But not everyone is pleased should the collection be a GC collab, with one stating: “If it’s Gemma Collins it’s bye-bye New Look for me.”
Another added: “I will be staying well clear if it’s the GC.”
She’s certainly one to divide opinions with her diva persona and larger than life personality, but she’s got to be the woman of the hour at the moment, being cast as Mama Morton in Chicago, and taken on a solo tour around the UK.
Gemma performed at the Manchester Opera House last month, entertaining fans with her GC’s Big Night Out tour.
She described the event as ‘incredible’ in an Instagram post, where ticketholders flooded her with praise. juliet.jd commented: “We’ve had a lovely evening. Bit emotional for me, as I can relate to a lot. But that’s why we love you so down to earth. My daughter is made up, you smiled at her getting in your car. Fab night, great memories. Thank you for being you.”

Gemma Collins hasn’t liked the New Look post, nor has she teased anything about a collaboration with the fashion retailer on socials – but we’ll be sure to keep a close eye out for the big reveal.
