Simon Cowell’s long term friend and ex Sinitta may not be invited to his upcoming wedding as his fiancée Lauren Silverman is “set on it not being a big celebrity affair,” a source tells OK!.
The 62 year old is set to marry American socialite Lauren, 44, in a lavish ceremony next month.
The Britain’s Got Talent boss and Sinitta, 58, dated for two years in the 1980s and have stayed close friends ever since, with her making regular appearances on The X Factor alongside the music mogul.
But our source says: “It will be very small and intimate, they don’t want any drama. It’s going to be true friends and Lauren’s family from America.

“Sinitta’s invite is up for discussion, she probably will be there because she’s known Simon for a very long time, but Lauren is set on it not being a big celebrity affair.
“She really wants it to just be their close-knit friends that have really helped them over the last few years.”
They added: “They’re very happy and very excited. They may throw a big celebration party later in the year with everybody there.”
OK! has contacted representatives for Simon, Lauren and Sinitta for comment on this story.
Simon’s sister-in-law, Emma Lloyd-Cowell recently said she fears he will be a “groomzilla” at his upcoming wedding to Lauren.
Speaking to The Sunshe said: “Will he be a groomzilla? It’s hard to say. Simon has very clear likes and dislikes.

“I’m sure he’s got lots of ideas, plans, and maybe a few surprises for Lauren, but I imagine it will be a low-key, really special day for them.”
Simon previously told The Sun: “I am planning it all, otherwise I know what will happen – there will be 600 people and it’ll get out of control, like my 50th birthday party.”
