NABA and UNINETTUNO: the Master in Fashion Law dedicated to future professionals in the fashion and textile sector is born

NABANew Academy of Fine Arts, and theUNINETTUNO International Telematic University announce the first edition of the Master di I livello in Fashion Law which will start from October 2022 with theinnovativa formula blendedproviding both online activities, which will take place on the UNINETTUNO e-learning platform, and in presence on the Milan campus of the Academy.

First level Master in Fashion Law: the partnership between NABA and UNINETTUNO

The moda and the textile have always been a leading role in the Italian economic landscaperepresenting one of the most globalized sectors in our country and, of course, there are numerous legal, economic and technological issues related to processes, markets and retail management within a multidisciplinary and constantly evolving scenario.

With this in mind, the new Master, the result of the partnership between two prestigious Italian companies in the world of universities and higher education, aims to train professionals who are able to systematically and transversely manage the various business dynamics, legal management, marketing of the fashion and textile supply chains, at national and international level, with a strong focus on aspects related to sustainability (environmental, economic, socio-cultural) and digitization.

An intensive training course that will be divided into 6 modules allowing students to deepen their knowledge through the alternation of theoretical and laboratory teachings: it will range from understanding the contents, the expressive languages ​​and the tools of the different disciplines that revolve around the System Fashion to the study of the main forms of marketing in terms of contracts and legal protection; from intellectual property to the dynamics of digital marketplaces and e-commerce up to new fashion technologies – with a focus on new digital markets, the role of NFT for digital fashion and the most current synergies of fashion in the Metaverse and Virtual Reality – and all ” evolution and application of sustainability in terms of the circular economy, respect for the environment and the supply chain.

The faculty will be composed of professional professors active in the fashion and legal sectors, capable of bringing a current and real perspective to the individual lessons, and who will be coordinated by Luca Belotti for NABA, Course Leader also of the Specialized Two-year courses in Fashion Design and Textile Design of the ‘Academy, with a didactic approach aimed at analyzing in depth, innovative and transversal the different facets of the Fashion and Textile System and Francesca Maschio, international lawyer, full-time researcher and professor at the Faculty of Law of UNINETTUNO, with extensive international experience in the negotiation and taylor made drafting of international contracts, intellectual property, fashion law, artificial intelligence, data protection and cybersecurity.

The curricular structure of the Master intends to train highly qualified resources who will be able to work in law firms in the fashion and textile sector, companies, trade associations and institutions, as well as become Fashion coordinators, Fashion consultants, Quality control and product development managers and in general in all those areas that make up the fashion system and which require an accurate knowledge of the aspects related to the sphere of law, economics, sustainability and marketing, which are very current.

The Master will be held in English, thanks to the technologies developed by UNINETTUNO on its E-learning platform, students will also be able to follow the lessons in Italian with simultaneous multilingual translation and will have an annual duration of 1500 hours, equal to 60 CFU (Training Credits University).
