Gucci renews its collaboration with Polimoda, one of the most prestigious schools in the sector located in Florence, for a new edition of the master in Retail and Omnichannel Fashion Management, but with some new features. The course will always aim to prepare young talents for a career in fashion and luxury retail. For, starting from 2022, tradition and innovation combine to give life to a training course oriented to a different approach to the shopping experience, which operates in an omnichannel context between physical and virtual.
This is the strategy that most of the fashion brands are implementing, following in the wake of the habits that consumers have shown in recent years marked by the pandemic emergency. The digital channel is increasingly present when a shopper approaches a product, but often an integral part of the physical channel, the store. The omnichannel experience involves different meeting points between the customer and the company (which can be the point of sale, but also an advertisement, the website …), influencing the presentation of products and servicesbut also the ways of interacting with the customer.
The presentation webinar
To respond to these changes and to an increasingly customer-centric and innovative context, Polimoda and Gucci have consolidated and improved their collaboration to give new perspectives to the professionals of the future. The webinar will be held to tell the reasons and new objectives behind this evolution Retail and Omnichannel Fashion Management next May 23 at 6pm, featuring Francesco Falai, Gucci SVP Global People Retail & Business Functions, and Oscar Mariani, Gucci SVP Omnichannel Operations and Performance and some graduates from previous editions hired by Gucci. An online meeting open to all those interested in the new opportunities of fashion retail management. For years, at Gucci, we have been working to be able to oroffer our customers an immersive experience – Mariani reiterated -, which integrates both the real and digital universes as much as possible. We are therefore happy to continue our collaboration with Polimoda and make our contribution to training the new generation of talents.
