Emmerdale star Patrick Mower is being tipped for a stint in the Australian jungle for I'm a Celeb

I’m A Celebrity 2022 potential line up as ITV show returns to Australia

I’m A Celebrity will soon be returning to our TV screens and fans are desperate to find out which stars will make up the 2022 cast.

Although the official line up is yet to be confirmed, the rumours about who’ll be entering the camp have already started. Last month ITV bosses confirmed that it was likely to return to Australia after two years being based at Gwrych Castle in Wales due to the pandemic.

Hosts Ant and Dec also hoped to return to Australia, despite saying they had a warm welcome in Wales. Ant said on The Graham Norton Show: “If it has to be Wales for another series, we will do it in Wales, but we want to go back to Australia.”

Here are the latest rumours of stars who could be entering the famous jungle, reported by The Mirror.

Danny Dyer

Danny Dyer is set to leave the BBC hit soap EastEnders later this year and this could result in the perfect opportunity for I’m A Celeb bosses to snap him up for a camp stint.

The star is at the top of William Hill odds of who might enter the jungle. Last month he was at odds of 5/1 of starring in the show.

A source told the Sun: “Producers think Danny would be great on the series and is their number one target. They’re hoping he’ll be finished in time, they’d definitely be up for a big money offer.”

Peter Crouch

Last month bookies William Hill had the footballer and podcaster down for 7/1 to be part of the line-up. He will follow in the footsteps of other footie stars including Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.

Tom Daley

Gold-medal-winning Olympian is a big target for TV bosses, both for I’m A Celeb and BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Earlier this year, it was claimed ITV bosses were in a battle with Strictly as both the BBC and ITV were desperate to sign up the diver for their shows.

A source said: “There is a race to secure Tom – both broadcasters know he will be loved by viewers.” Last year, Tom’s diving partner Matty Lee competed on IAC.
