After the success of the experiment that involved only some of Emirates’ busiest routes, the airline decided to extend the use of the IATA Travel Pass to all its destinations on six continents (including Italy). It is the first to take this great step, introducing a useful tool to ensure greater safety for passengers and pushing towards a rapid return to normal air travel.
Last spring, Emirates had decided to implement the IATA Travel Pass on some selected routes of its Dubai hub, meeting with widespread approval. In the following months, the company had expanded the range of action of the app, including 12 of its most prestigious destinations. A large-scale trial that had achieved much more than the expected results, so much so that now Emirates has decided to take another step forward, extending the use of the Pass on its entire network globally.
I know at the moment IATA Travel Pass is available only for passengers traveling to and from 50 cities connected by the national airline of Dubai, by the end of October its use should reach all the over 120 destinations it has reached. So the app developed by the International Air Transport Association it will soon arrive in Italy tooacross all four Emirates gateways.

Emirates had successfully pioneered the Travel Pass by distributing this health certificate to its passengers who frequented certain routes. Now the pilot phase has concluded, and it is time to extend its use to all six continents.
