In a few hours the Milanese fashion week will start, which will open the dances on February 22nd and will go on until February 28th. On the catwalks we will see the fashion shows of the autumn winter 2022 collections, with a very busy calendar and above all finally in attendance (for most of the shows). Among the regular guests, Fendi, Prada and Versace, among others, are reconfirmed. Bottega Veneta and Gucci are also back on the Milanese catwalks, after the traveling and online shows chosen for the latest pandemic editions
Milan Fashion Week (THE SPECIAL OF SKY TG24) is upon us: from 22 to 28 February the most important appointment of Italian fashion is back, with many fashion shows in which the autumn winter 2022/23 collections will be presented.
The importance of this new edition is indisputable: finally the health emergency (which in the last two years had stopped everything forcing several Maisons to choose alternative shows, both digitally and in progress), is loosening its grip, ergo we are back on the catwalk “really”, in the sense of “in flesh and blood” in front of a physical audience.
In the next few days Milan will come alive with all that very high level of fashion that characterized the Lombard capital during its fashion week before the pandemic. The calendar is very busy and for most of the shows we talk about events in presence.
Among the regular guests, the great names of Made in Italy are reconfirmed, such as Fendi, Prada and Versace, as well as Max Mara and Dolce & Gabbana, just to name a few.
Returning “home” after some missed editions are Bottega Veneta and Gucci, two brands that for the last fashion weeks had opted for the alternative variant of traveling shows, outside Milan, and digital, online shows.
Armani will also return to show in attendance, after having canceled the fashion shows scheduled to present the men’s and couture collection in January due to the Omicron variant of Covid.

Milan Fashion Week, women’s fashion returns to Milan
This year’s numbers bring us back to the glory of pre-pandemic Milano Fashion: there are no less than 169 appointments, located throughout the city.
Of these, 67 are parades (with two double parades). And of these, 57 will be physical, in person, while only eight will once again be online.
There are also 77 presentations and nine events, for a truly rich calendar.

Milan Fashion Week, the man brings us back in presence
To open tomorrow, Tuesday 22 February, will be Capasa, which will present a new brand on the catwalk.
This is Capasa Milano, a co-ed project by Ennio Capasa (after Costume National) which will be released on the catwalk on February 22, in the evening, at the Arcimboldi theater.
Once again, as always for Capasa, it is a family-run business venture, which will see the collaboration of his brother Carlo – president of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion – and his sister, Rita Capasa.

Jacquemus 24/24, the pop up store arrives in Milan for Fashion Week
Marco Bizzari, ceo and president of Gucci, had made the announcement in November 2021: finally Gucci will show again in Milan, after two years of digital fashion shows.
To present the autumn winter 2022/23 collection, we return to the Milan fashion week.
The same goes for Bottega Veneta, which chooses a great return on the catwalks of the Lombard capital under the new creative director: Matthieu Blazy, successor of Daniel Lee (who unexpectedly abandoned the leadership of the fashion house, in a mysterious “yellow” in sauce fashion whose motives have never been revealed).
Milan Fashion Week will also be the testing ground for Trussardi’s new creative directors: Benjamin Alexander Huseb and Serhat Isik are the names today at the helm of the Italian brand, respectively a Norwegian-Pakistani artist and a Turkish-German stylist who is responsible for the task. to renew our local signature.
The two inaugurated the German brand GmbH, famous for speaking a lot of language youngwith also a great focus on inclusiveness and sustainability.
Among the first revolutions that this new creative couple has launched in the Trussardi house is the restyling of the mythical logo with the greyhound. The 1973 symbol has been redesigned, giving more breath to the spacing in order to give the brand innovation without however straying too far from the tradition of the original.
